The _Community Relations Outreach Representative lll_ is responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of strategies related to Kentucky Medicaid programs, products, territory or expansion. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with the Kentucky Medicaid member population for the primary purpose of increasing enrollment and decreasing disenrollment in Southeastern Kentucky .
Ensures consistent compliance with state, federal, and company specific requirements.
Develops a standard process for assessing the feasibility and development of sponsored event programs.
Conducts marketing activities, events, exhibits, education, and presentations in an effort to gain members and maintain and/or establish relationships with providers, community, and faith based organizations.
Identifies and enlists the cooperation of individuals, groups, social service agencies and other community organizations in educational and outreach activities.
Identifies cultural issues regarding current and potential members; communicate those issues and concerns to management immediately.
Territory will cover multiple counties in Southeast KY including Pulaski, and the surrounding counties.
Job Qualifications
Requires:
An Associates Degree; 4 years of experience in managed care/healthcare or sales/marketing environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
BA/BS preferred.
Valid Kentucky drivers license and access to a motor vehicle with valid motor vehicle insurance required.
90% travel, Day and occasional overnights
State health insurance licensure preferred.
Community outreach and/or marketing experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience working with Medicaid member population a plus.
