RN-Recovery PACU-FT-(Days)

Provides direct patient care to patients ranging from neonate to geriatrics using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed concerning patient condition and receives direction for patient management.
Participates in performance improvement, quality assurance and departmental meetings.
Required LicensesRegistered NurseCurrent Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.
Minimum Work ExperienceOne (1) year or more RN experience in PACU preferred.
Required Skills/Certifications 1.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
2.
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
3.
Current American Heart Association PALS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
4.
Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
