JOB PROFILE:
Industry leading manufacturer offers a career-oriented opportunity for one to lead and manage this plant's production staff and operation. You will manage the converting process and component building process. You will be engaged in team development and expansion of the manufacturing operations. Your task is to lead your team to optimize resources to meet or exceed plant goals.
This plant is a non-union, fast paced, JIT operation. You will manage direct reports in the plant as well as liaison with teams in sister plants. You will report to the Plant Manager.
We are looking for one who wants solid career and advancement opportunities, eventually willing to move into different departments and has the aptitude for career advancement.
REQUIREMENTS:
o Bachelors degree
o Experience in a manufacturing environment - wood products
o Solid leadership aptitude and growth potential
o Manufacturing leadership experience
o Material flows, inventory management, kitting, order picking, a plus
o Lean or Six Sigma tools
o Project management - continuous improvement experience
o Outstanding people and team skills
o Solid communication, organization and time management skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
