The Business Analyst ll translates basic business needs into application software requirements Anthem Kentucky Medicaid Health Plan . Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
The Business Analyst lll is responsible for serving as the health plan liaison with the business and IT partners translating complex business needs into application software for the Anthem Kentucky Medicaid Health Plan . Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
Works with other departments within the health plan to identify and assess business operational needs in order to develop and implement tools.
May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
The Business Analyst ll requires a BS/BA degree, 3-5 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
The Business Analyst lll requires a BS/BA degree, 5-7 years of business analysis experience that includes knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. 6 years of business analysis experience in lieu Bachelors degree.
Preferred skills and experience :
Medcaid experience.
Working knowledge of FACETS.
Expert level Microsoft Excel skills required.
Intermediate or higher level proficiency in MS Access.
Registered Nurse (RN) a plus.
Experience with SQL
Healthcare industry experience with in depth understanding of medical management operations
