POSITION: Human Resources Supervisor - Plant
LOCATION: Somerset KY area
COMPENSATION: $50,000-55,000 plus Bonus plus Excellent Benefits package, Comprehensive Relocation package
JOB PROFILE:
Industry leading manufacturer offers a career-oriented opportunity for an Human Resources professional with HR experience in a plant environment and who is promotable to the next level.
We are seeking one who is a proactive in the HR role developing ways to bring positive interaction with people and help them develop in their careers. We're looking for an HR Supervisor who is hands on and has a floor presence to understand the manufacturing process and flow in the plant.
You will need to be a generalist with the maturity to partner with the Plant Leadership and to work well through various scenarios.
Functions include:
Generalist - experience with all aspects of HR
Proactive, seek methods to bring positive impact through the role of human resources for plant and salaried employees
Functions as an internal consultant to the leadership team
Serve as an advocate for the employees, get out on the floor and get to know the people and the processes
Become a beacon of the culture of the company
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree
2
years experience with HR functions in a manufacturing plant
HR information system, recruiting aptitude, safety, FMLA, Title VII
. PHR certification, a definite plus
Solid communication, organization and time management skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
